Tennessee kickoff moves later

Posted by Darren Urban on November 17, 2009 – 9:32 am

The NFL announced Tuesday the kickoff for the Cardinals game at Tennessee Nov. 29 has been moved into the late TV slot, meaning instead of an 11 a.m. kickoff in Arizona, it will be at 2:15 p.m. Arizona time (3:15 p.m. Tennessee time). That game joins Chicago at Minnesota as the only late games on the schedule that week, since three games will be played on Thanksgiving Thursday: Green Bay at Detroit, Oakland at Dallas, Giants at Denver. The Sunday night game that week remains Pittsburgh at Baltimore.

Thanks NFL, I work in the afternoons. This one had a good chance of being the regional game where I live. I was all excited about it.

Good for the Cards, stay on AZ kick-off time.

Sorry TimC, but it is better for the Cards to play the later schedule rather than adjusting to an early kickoff…I am glad for the move.

Hasn’t NBC already flexed the Vikings game at the Panthers rather than the Cardinals game?

    PWalker –

You know what, you are right. Right now, the Vikings-Panthers game is already scheduled for NBC. I was given faulty info (although considering where the Panthers are, NBC might want to flex out of that game).
