Marrying golf and football
Posted by on May 12, 2010 – 12:11 pmNot that Ken Whisenhunt already hasn’t done it, as a scratch golfer and as coach of a two-time defending division winner. But here are the ultimate images. Sports Illustrated is doing a feature on Whisenhunt for their golf magazine, and Whisenhunt was out at University of Phoenix Stadium today for a photo shoot — standing on the field, which is rolled outside, aiming toward the stadium he is inside Sundays.
No one should fret. No stadiums were harmed in the taking of these photos (and no, that’s not a slam against Whisenhunt’s driving skills; the pictures were staged so he wasn’t hitting actual golf balls).

Wasn’t John Navarre a scratch golfer, too? Maybe we should bring him back.
Who would be the Cardinals’ ultimate foursome?

Right now, Jay Feely is probably in there. And Mike Leach. Derek Anderson likes to play, and I think Joey Porter can play too.

Cards G.O.A.T. fousome would have to be Whiz, Al Del Greco, Steve Beuerlein and Neil Lomax.
With Elway, Marino, Roethlisberger,Beuerlein, Lomax etc., wonder why QBs make good celebrity golfers?
