Arizona a Super finalist
Posted by on April 28, 2011 – 3:29 pmAfter last hosting the Super Bowl back after the 2007 season, University of Phoenix Stadium and Arizona are one of two finalists for the game to be played in 2015 after the 2014 season — along with Tampa Bay. The last time Tampa hosted was after the 2008 season, when the Cardinals made it to the game against Pittsburgh. The decision will be made at the October owners meetings.
“We are delighted to receive the terrific news that Arizona is one of two finalists for the 2015 Super Bowl,” said Mike Kennedy, Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee Chairman. “As I have always said, we are in the Super Bowl business and believe we have the best facilities and most hospitable venue in the country.”
The next three Super Bowls are schedule to be in Indianapolis, New Orleans and New York.

By 2015, I bet we’ll be Superbowl contenders. Patrick Peterson, make it happen. Maybe we’ll become the first team to play in their own stadium in the Superbowl.
Awesome news, though. In my opinion, Phoenix should get the Superbowl more often. The Cardinals have an awesome stadium, the weather is fantastic here around the time of the Superbowl, there’s tons of hotels and resorts for visitors, all the players can play as much of golf as they can, and this city will definitely have the Superbowl atmosphere.
Darren, when will we find out the results?

My bad, I should’ve read more carefully. It’ll be decided in October, got it.
Sorry about that.
