Aeneas will make it my fellow fans so keep the faith. Aeneas is to good a CB not to get in, and it is such a hard position to play.
Biggest surprise to me was not one of the three wide receivers not being chosen. All 3 were beast especially Chris Carter and TIm Brown.

Go Cards!

Aeneas will always be first round in My Big Red Hall of Fame!!!!.... They are just hating on him because he was responsible for the hit that unintentionally ended up being the last of Steve Young's concussion filled career. He was a great player and was/is a good Christian example, just like Kurt. I'll never forget him signing my ball at training camp in 2000 with a bible verse underneath it instead of his number like most everybody else. He also led more than one prayer circle after practice. He was a good example in a league that is filled with folks that hate on that kinda thing but you'll see em on the sideline with there heads bowed, holding hands when the battle is down to the last seconds and they need a miracle. "ain't no atheists in foxholes" LOL. I have Tillman's sig on that ball, too, pretty ironic, actually, I got to walk and talk with him alone for a little while when he was going from the practice field to the Walkup Dome, cutting across right there through the trees. We talked about both growing up in the bay area, and I asked him if he was gonna get to return punts because that's what I was watching him do right before practice ended. He said "maybe if one gets shanked my way, otherwise.." and we both laughed at the same time. Funny thing was he was actually pretty good at it he even broke one for what would have been a TD if they hadn't just blown it dead. He didn't have to take the time out to talk (to a dude that for all he knew coulda been a stalker) but he did. When is he gonna go in the Hall? Probably never but that guy was a genuine Hall of Fame person and always will be in my book. @georgiebird yeah pretty good players on bad teams, and you call yourself a Cards fan? That is pretty much the story EVERY year. What has Fitz been the last few years he is AMAZING but he didn't get to have a single NATIONALLY TELEVISED GAME this past season because of how terrible the rest of the team was. He WILL and WANTS to be a Cardinal for his ENTIRE CAREER. You don't find that anymore. Players like these are what make me proud to be a Big Red fan. Damn, I rarely even refer to them as the "Cardinals". They are "My Beloved Big Red".... All of them #1 in My Heart's Hall of Fame...well said @Scott H.

This is a travesty. Definitely for part of his career and arguably for all of his career, he was the best at his position. How many of the five named can make the same statement?

The HOF is biased in favour of offensive players and when it comes to defence sacks seem to take precedence over coverage.

Off topic, but, I agree with those fans who think that the Bidwill's money would be better spent on signing Campbell and OL Free Agents than signing Peyton Manning (if he's even allegedly healthy and available).

Aeneas Williams is a legend. He has a place waiting for him in the Hall of Fame. It is not surprising that he was not admitted in his first year of eligibility. First year induction is not the norm. He was a great player to watch over the years who showed great athletic ability and leadership in every game.
