Darren,
"Running back Javarris James left the game in the third quarter with a suspected ACL tear."

That's all you said about any injured player after the Denver game and then 3 days later we hear via J. Bridges own tweet that he hurt his thumb, only then did you let us know but still never told us how it happened. What do you expect me to think? If I hadn't asked we still wouldn't know how he hurt his thumb and BTW there are worse ways to hurt a thumb than a hand through wall.

It is quite obvious, we will depend on the OL for run support. Hopefully they can hold it together long enough for the QBs to be effective. Our offense will resemble that of San Fran last year in some aspects. A lot of play action and quick read passes to open up the downfield throws. This also explains the reasoning of keeping tall, quick and athletic receivers on the roster and PS. Our QBs are sailing the ball, running for their life or just inexperienced. I have a feeling the WRs are also working on breaking up bad passes to avoid INTs. Last, the QBs will have to scramble alot and all 3 are capable.

cardsalltheway:

Last week I suggested you be put on the blogs player squad. As it turns out, you have been on this blog for atleast a season and are not eligible. Therefore, I quess it's up to Coach Urban to decide your fate. You may be safe though, their seems to be other posters who actually find you humorous. If you are kept on the bloggers team I hope your postings are little more optomistic once in awhile.

I take it we don't know how he hurt his thumb. So, let me guess...Xbox, Tiddlywinks, or hand through wall?

The reason a team has to designate the player they plan on bringing off the IR during the season is because that player has to be on the roster for the first game of the season. If the player has already been placed on the IR they will not be eligible to be the player coming back. The best case scenario for that rule would be if you have a guy that is going to miss only 6or 7 games. That way you can bring someone else in to fill that roster spot while still being able to bring that player back later in the season. In the case of either Bridges or Brown they are both likely to miss most of the season regardless.

I know what you meant to write was: "Does anyone else smell SMOKE?"

I, for one, have been smelling smoke since Graves didn't address the OL problem for the last several years or during the draft and FA periods.
