If Graves only does what Whiz tells him, then he is of no value and should be canned.

@Brett,
Actually....Yes he needs to take blame! It is not like this is the first game this has happened!, it is constant with this team.. They lead with the shoulder not looking where the tackle needs to be made, They have drills for all the crap (fundamentals) that we just cant seem to do, and yet here we are watching the same things reach up and bite us every season!!!!!
Question: How many times have you watched Dousette drop balls "this year"?
Yup, a curtail drop in every game! Why is he still even put in when it's crunch time? I've personally been questioning His playing time for 2 years now?
Who is evaluating his talent? Would he even make a NFL roster (besides the Cards)?
At what point do the "Coaches" realize the missed tackles are because our Defenders look for the big hit (dropping the shoulder with the hands locked at their own waist, like trying to break down a door) , and usually just getting a piece of the ball carrier or air, or are they scared to actually stand in front of the ball carrier take the hit and wrap him up. I change the channel and see Da Bears, Giants, Squeelers, Texans & Ravens wrapping up at the point and bringing down the ball carrierits (its like NCAA football to PoP Warner the Cards being PoP Warner.) Sure they are not highlight hits but they are just what you need, solid tackles!!! Diving at a dudes feet just doesn't work, if you think i'm joking or full of it, just watch a couple old games and think about what i'm saying and then post a reply.

We really need to bring DRC back badly. Our DB's are getting torched. William Gay has been so bad it's like watching McFadden all over again. I don't know what happened to our special teams but they need to wake up.

I do think our offense will improve. Watching Skelton play against Greenbay was nice. He did a good job and seems to be improving every week. Also I think the O-line will be better now that Nate Potter is in for Batiste. Bobby Massie has looked good the last couple of games and should be prettty solid for us the rest of the year.

If there is one move in free agency next year that this team needs to do it is to bring back DRC. In the draft take one of the top three OT's ( Lewan, Joeckel,Matthews) and next offseason will be a success.

@Mike in Mesa,
I understand you love JS, but to love any thing wolf says is just Funny! He is a HOMER! He loves who is at the helm on any given week! Do we have to many drops? Sure, but to throw a pick in every game you play in is just insane! Last year JS had more Int's than TD's (almost double) and if you look this year the trend continues 2 TD's to 5 Int's (more than double) It is what it is!
PS: when Eli or Payton throw INT's they usually back that up with a Win or a TD on the next drive! not go 3 and out!

@Jocards,
You dont understand the gripe! It is simple Whiz is a way better Coach than Green. But have you noticed once Whiz was rooted (3yrs in) he began to tear apart that "Core" group of players that Green had built? Oh and what is our record now and after that "Core" Group left?
NUF SAID!!!

Andre roberts isn't better than Kevin kasper.or even bryant johnson. The overall level of talent is poor in several spots. And we have a severe lack of depth across the board. This trend began in 2010, so I think it has less to do with graves and more to do with whisenhunt and the credit he got for haley and warners work.

Drc won't come back unless the coach is gone.several players left with what seems to me as poor relationship with whiz.

And clancy pendergrast got a bad rap.gerard hayes was a dog for the last 2 or 3 seasons and nobody noticed until dansby left?me neither but his play was noticebly bad.

the one thing about the superbowl run that I've noticed the giants tried the right rear corner td pass several times in week 11 I think.drc barely tips the pass away and the saftey was way late.three months later The steelers used a simular play to both sides of endzone in the sb. And finally they stuck with the right side (only one foot down) santonio got us with fransisco, adub is never involved in giants or steeler play.but it was a clear undisiplined hole in the defense in addition to green and hayes.

Ultimately it was mike bidwill who gave the extention and placed our sunday fates in whisenhunts hands.graves only buys groceries he's told to buy.so blame is with the cooks

You know I’ve read a considerable amount of posts saying that Whisenhunt won with Dennis Green’s roster and that he is a terrible judge of talent, etc., etc….Funny thing is that Dennis Green didn’t win with Dennis Green’s roster and everybody wanted him run out of town too. I am not a Whisenhunt apologist but he is the most successful coach in franchise history which admittedly says more about the franchise than it does about the coach…However my point is that there is always a large portion of fans that want the coach fired when the team is losing….that is just a part of being an NFL head coach. I don’t believe Whisenhunt is a bad coach nor do I think he’s a great coach. I don’t think this football team is as “good” as a lot of folks here want to believe it is. Graves and Whisenhunt both share some responsibility for that for sure but these are NFL players and they all have a lot of talent, these guys have to execute and make plays.
