No surprises on not-playing list vs Cowboys

Posted by Darren Urban on August 17, 2013 – 11:54 am

The list of Cardinals not scheduled to play today isn’t surprising. All of the players had missed practice this week. The good news, which Arians already has said, was that both Rashard Mendenhall and Andre Ellington were playing today at running back, giving the team four backs with which to work (Alfonso Smith and Stepfan Taylor are the others.)

– S Jonathon Amaya (knee)

– CB Javier Arenas (finger)

– LB Karlos Dansby ()hamstring)

– WR Jarrett Dillard (concussion)

– S Rashad Johnson (knee/ankle)

– TE Jeff King (knee)

– DT Ricky Lumpkin (ankle)

– DT Dan Williams (ankle)

– DE Frostee Rucker (toe)

– TE Kory Sperry (ankle)

– RB Ryan Williams (knee)

It really looks as if Ryan Williams doesn’t want to be here, nor does he seem to worried about getting cut. The Cards should do what’s best for them, BUT I wouldn’t cut him until the very last minute. He hasn’t done us any favors, so why should we show him any courtesy. I’m sure they would except him in the lingerie football league since he seems to bleed once a month!

Williams has had some rough luck over three years, but I don’t see any reason to insult him.

Yeah it’s a brutal game man, the dudes just had really really bad luck, I hope he gets one more shot to be on the team but somehow I doubt it,………sad.

ryan williams, probably last chance this week, you need to be at practice man,and be on top of your game.i’m pretty sure BA has cut you as much slack as he possibly can,but dude,if you don’t make it here you’ll be picked up and thrown into games like so much meat to the wolves and your career will be short and painful.we need your skills and you need a team on the rise, works for both of us.this week could be the defining point of your career as a rb,man up and impress, what you say?
