Wait…is Kurt Warner RUNNING with the ball in this picture??? When did that happen??? Man, I don’t think I ever saw him tuck it down and run…at least, not that I remember. Then again, he never really needed to. Yeah, every once in awhile, a defense would get to him – like the Cardinals did during a home game against the Giants when Warner was there – but that was rare. statistically, he has to be among the best QB’s in NFL history when it came to beating the blitz. SOOO great at reading a defense and knowing where the open man was going to be, then SOOO great at putting the ball right where it needed to be. Truly a historically GREAT QB.

What do they have in common? Not really sure what the answer is that Darren is looking for. But what they have in common for me is that they were both among the FINEST men to play in the NFL in recent memory – or maybe EVER – and they were both reasons to be damn proud to be a Cardinals fan. I own both jerseys, I wear them proudly, and they always draw respect from others.

Together with Fitz, Boldin, and Adrian Wilson, these guys are my favorite Cardinals of all time.

Hopefull, something that Williams and Warner WILL have in common someday is that they will both have a bust in Canton, Ohio.
