Palmer is doing well of late…duh … He must vocalize loudly that the team in totality earned this award for him. A couple examples: Floyd YAC’s for 91 yards, Fitz scores on double/triple coverage padding Palmer’s stats. Roberts catches errant stuff. Housler is maybe coming into his own game. Cards defense stuffs the opposition making the score look even more ridiculous.

And, remember #75? I wish that conversation would have ended much earlier…BA and Keim finally got it. Palmer can thank them also. I’m not saying he needs a near perfect situation, or am I? Our team looks great!

He is now getting reasonable support from us, the fans, but is he the long-term answer…say 4-5 years??? Can he can morph into a good backup later?

Well, after all of my criticisms of him earlier in the season ( many of which I stand by with how he was playing at the time ), I just want to give a big YOU DA MAN to the NFC Offensive Player of the Week! Hey, if this guy is “finding it” at just the right time for this team, then he’ll get many more YOU DA MAN’s from me.

Keep it rollin’, Carson. Even with 4 wins in a row, we’re only one loss away from being kicked to the outside track. I’d love to think the panthers are ripe for a let down against the Buccs ( especially after their narrow escpaes in each of the last 2 weeks ), but…it probably ain’t happening. Assuming they will win, we can’t afford to fall 2 games behind them. Especially knowing that either the Rams or 49ers WILL win this week. Hard to know who to pull for there. They both have a win against the Cardinals in hand. I guess we should root for the Rams here and hope we even BOTH series over the next few weeks. A 49ers loss puts them a game behind us if we win and keeps us even if we drop this one on Sunday. Buit…

….let’s not drop this one on Sunday. There’s no reason we should. The Cardinals are a better team than the Eagles, period. But I do expecxt a hard fought game. The Eagles are hitting their stride right now, too. Let’s keep this in mind, though – the Eagles have lost 10 of their last 11 games at home. They were able to hold on against the Redskins ( barely ) to break that slide. But guess what, Philly? YOU AIN’T PLAYIN’ THE REDSKINS THIS WEEK!!!

One thing can be said for Carson Palmer is that he has a history of being very durable. If you look at his history, it appears to be better than anyone that can be found in the past 10 years for the number of games he has played. This is a very important stat…. Congrats to him and the team of course…. (trainers too)

Despite the serious whupping the Cards put on the Colts, and the marginal recognition the Cards are now getting. ,most analyst consider this week’s game against the Eagles a defining game for the Cards and see it as a test of whether or not they are for real. Playing outside in frigid Philly against a very loyal, loud and hostile crowd won’t be the same as playing at home in a dome and despite our defense, it is generally assumed that Nick Foles is the better QB (or new flavor of the week) thus giving the Eagles favor. I hope we are able to adjust to the weather on the road, and don’t feel that Chip Kelly is a match for Coach BA. I kinda like the fact that our offense is being underestimated and judged by the beginning of the year, and hope Coach BA has some well rehearsed moves in his bag of trick for shutting down the Eagles. This should be a good game in preparing for Seattle, the Titans, and 9ers and we need it to establish that we are indeed legit! KEEP THE PRESSURE ON AND THE LEVEL OF PLAY HIGH! GO CARDS!
