Perry, WHY???? That’s what he did last year, and forced balls that were picked off. Larry is not the player he was, that is obvious. I would MUCH rather have Palmer keep throwing it to the open guy, not just pad someone’s stats for the purpose of fantasy football.

    azqfan –

Well, Fitz sure was getting open on Sunday, wasn’t he? Floyd did ZERO. And John Brown had done very little until that last play. I’m not disagreeing with your premise.. But…c’mon, Fitz HAS to be more involved than he has been. I don’t see how anyone could disagree with that.

Perry’s exact words were “just a little more.” That does NOT mean that we have to be forcing a lot of balls to Fitz that shouldn’t be forced. It just means that your most dependable offensive play-maker should be getting a LITTLE more of an opportunity to make the plays he is still SOOOOOO capable of making!!!

Why do people have to take the slightest suggestion that Fitz should be getting “a little more” of an opportunity and run to the extreme of “we can’t start forcing the ball to him because that’s when all the INT’s happen???”

Well, Fitz took one of his opportunities on Sunday and turned it into an 80 yard TD. A TD that was we NEEDED for the final outcome. When you have a player who CAN do that, HAS been doing that for you for the past decade, why is it not a good idea to get him the ball JUST A LITTLE MORE?????

Just a little more does not mean we have to change the whole approach and start forcing plays that are not there. Maybe more plays like the one we saw on Sunday ARE there. Isn’t that also a possibility?

SOOOO awesome to see the proud lion raise his head and ROAR! You go, Larry! Took a little while but we know you still have these games in you. I am hoping this serves as a launching pad for Fitz to start going like we know he can AND like he should be more than once every 7 games.
