John Brown can dance – he’s got a trophy to prove it

Posted by Darren Urban on January 28, 2015 – 2:22 pm

John “Smokey” Brown provided his share of highlights this season for the Cardinals, many of the dramatic touchdown variety. But he also had that dance. Oh, what a dance it was. The NFL Network noticed, giving Brown its “Dancing with the Starters” trophy for best in-game dance of 2014. The honors just keep rolling in.

It was early in the morning show — a little before 8 a.m. Arizona time — and it didn’t look at first that Smokey wanted to revisit his conglomeration of loose limbs he made his dance this season. But eventually he was cajoled into it, and as always, it was entertaining.

hopefully many more dances to come.hope injuries don’t become a problem,he can get open with his speed. with that dance,it was a classic, especially at the end when he acts like he’s swinging the bat, they didn’t show it in this video.

    Darren,
Speaking of receivers- how is Ja. Brown doing? Prior to his injury, I felt Jaron was going to turn into one of the best player on the team given age, size, speed and overall talent level.. His ceiling seemed quite high.

The Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich! Make me another one. A tip of the Cardinals’ Wing to “Smoke” Brown.

John Brown was a breath of fresh air all year long. He, the other receivers and the whole team, had diminished stats once the qb carousel spun out of control. Hope for better season for whole team with a healthy qb next year. (Keep getting better Carson!)

Love this kid! I was there for that amazing pass & catch for the go-ahead score in the Philly game and I will never forget it. Damn near perfect throw from Palmer BUT still NOT an easy catch because of the way the ball came right over his head. Many WR’s – not just rookies, either – would not have made catch. This kid can play!

Looking forward to many repeat performances of the dance!

Love it!!! John Brown from my great alma mater—Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Ks (note please, no “g” on the end!!). And now another big story being ignored obviously by those NOT “in the know”. The SB is won by Malcolm Butler from Univ of West Alabama—ANOTHER NCAA D2 SCHOOL—-GO D2!!!!!!

Ooops, sorry. Got so excited about D2. Obviously meant to type no “h” on the end of our Pittsburg!!!!
