Michael Adams and the practice squad

Mike Sando has a good list of the Cardinals who are eligible for the practice squad, always important info when you are trying to figure out the final roster. I learned a little something myself; I thought a player could only spend two years on the practice squad and not three. That led me to think CB Michael Adams — who has spent time on both the regular roster and the practice squad each of the last two years — wasn’t eligible anymore. Considering he is, I’d be shocked if he didn’t land on the PS if he doesn’t make the final roster (which remains a long shot). As for the rest of the analysis, it fits, although I don’t see how Lance Long clears waivers for the PS again, not with Todd Haley and the receiver-challenged Chiefs waiting out there.
