Reminders for game day

Here are some important reminders if you are going to the game Sunday:

GATES OPEN: All fans should be aware main entrance gates at University of Phoenix Stadium open 90 minutes prior kickoff this season. Fans can enter the stadium starting at 11:45 AM on Sunday. (Main gates have opened two hours prior to kickoff in previous years.)

PARKING LOTS: Sportsman’s Park carparks and other game day parking lots will open four hours before kickoff for each Cardinals home game this season. Vehicles can enter starting at 9:00 AM on Sunday morning.

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER: The Cardinals will unfurl their NFC Championship banner at 12:55 PM. Former Cardinals CB Aeneas Williams and team President Michael Bidwill will speak and a ceremonial video will be shown.

JORDIN SPARKS: Grammy nominated and 19 Recordings/Jive Records platinum-selling artist JORDIN SPARKS will sing the National Anthem prior to kickoff.

GREAT LAWN:  The Great Lawn will open four hours prior to kickoff at 9:00 AM. The Verizon Wireless Stage will feature the Charlene Tarango Band for fans to enjoy while tailgating.

TICKETS: Sunday’s game is a sellout though a limited number of tickets returned from the visiting team allotment are available for purchase. The Cardinals have sold out all 35 games they have played at University of Phoenix Stadium since it opened in August of 2006.

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT: Just like last season, the NFL and all 32 NFL clubs will continue to enforce the Fan Code of Conduct to help promote a positive fan environment at all NFL stadiums. The fan code of conduct is designed to set clear fan expectations and encourage a stadium environment that is enjoyable for all fans. PAT DOWNS: In order to further enhance fan safety and comfort, everyone entering University of Phoenix Stadium will be subject to pat down hand searches. Fans are encouraged to arrive early at stadium gates to help facilitate this additional security measure.

    Darren… I hope that you’ll be posting video of the ceremony and banner raising for those of us out of state (Texas) who can not attend (although I did make the 49ers Monday night game last year, the NFC Championship, and three days of this past training camp). I’ll be back to see the banner in person at some point this season.

    The Cardinals are going to go all the way i believe in them the 49ers are going down we beat them last year we can do it again goodluck to Larry Fitzgerald, Kurt Warner, A. Boldin, A wilson, B. Well, Urban and all the other starters i hope hightower get some good runs thanks ken Whisenhunt and all the coaches that made this team the way they are even is they lose some game i just love to watch them play cause it my faverite team. Good Luck!!!
