OK, let’s get this straight: Antrel Rolle doesn’t catch a Jaguars punt and doesn’t (appear to) tell his teammates to get the heck away from the bouncing ball, and it hits Greg Toler for a turnover. But the defense holds up inside its own 30 (yes, Bryant McFadden may have gotten away with one on a possible PI on third down) and Calais Campbell blocks the field goal.
So where the ball end up? In Rolle’s hands, who has proven — that’s six touchdowns in 11 “quick change” plays for Rolle all time, including fumbles, interceptions, etc. — he can score if he has the ball. And he scampers 83 yards for a touchdown and a 17-3 lead. Wow. This is the start the Cards needed.
