Spach hurts ankle

Posted by Darren Urban on October 11, 2009 – 2:58 pm

TE Stephen Spach is questionable to return with a right ankle sprain, Meanwhile, the Cards’ defense just came up with three straight stops when the Texans needed just one yard for a first down. This seems to be the complete game the Cards wanted to achieve — at least so far.

We’ve just blown a 21-point lead. Oh, great.

So we wait another week for the Cards to realize that Beanie Wells is a great running back. He gains six yards to open the third quarter and we keep him on the field and then fake the ball to him – power football? Why’d we sign Kreider, Wright, and Becht, draft Beanie and then stuff the running game in our back pocket? Russ Grimm anchored one of the greatest lines in the game and can coach a running game ….something’s wrong here.

i know when i sit and start to talk about the cards, even as a 40 year old diehard fan i can come across negative, but,oh what the heck ,big win,now i am going to pull my fingers of the keypad because the more i type, the more i will find the bad,so go cards–a win even like this is still a win.

Wishing Stephen a speedy recovery. The Bergmanns in Clovis say hello to him.

Has anyone just used another O tackle in place of the tight end. Of course they would technically be a tight end, but who cares. Do we really need another receiver down field? Wouldn’t it give Warner a little more protection and perhaps give our running game another blocker.
