Boldin back to practice
Posted by on November 6, 2009 – 12:39 pmIn what really probably shouldn’t be a surprise, WR Anquan Boldin was back practicing today and looked pretty good on his injured ankle. As usual, coach Ken Whisenhunt said Boldin’s status for the game will be determined on Sunday, but it certainly doesn’t look like Boldin had any major setback when he re-tweaked the ankle injury last week and I think there’s a good chance he plays Sunday.
The Cards, once again, look fairly healthy. There will be a handful of banged-up guys, like LB Gerald Hayes (back), S Antrel Rolle (foot) and WR Steve Breaston (knee) but in the end, I think the Cards will be at full strength against the Bears. Rolle and Breaston are even officially probable. CB Michael Adams (hamstring) was added to the injury report Friday and was limited.

Good to hear that Rolle and Breaston are probable. Personally I think Q is going to play whether he is 100% or not, I think we have all seen how he feels about missing a game because of this ankle. I’m curious to see if Whiz is going to have him sit so we can have him at 100% come the division games.

Anquan the destroyer is a huge weapon , even at his 80 percent status. The man is a threat everytime he has the ball in his hands. I love Breaston, but he does not have the same physical attributes that allow Boldin to shrug off defenders like they were children. I think he should be in the first few drives and then rest him as needed.
