Anquan fifth-fastest to 7,000

Posted by Darren Urban on November 15, 2009 – 5:00 pm

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin has indeed returned to health with a flourish, making eight catches for 105 yards to this point. He needed 100 yards to reach 7,000 in his career, so with that milestone he ties Isaac Bruce as the fifth-fastest player to reach 7,000 receiving yards, doing it in his 88th game.

Oh, and Beanie Wells — two touchdowns today — looks pretty effective too. The offense certainly has done a 180 since early on in this game.

Big day for Boldin and Beanie. It’s too bad Larry got tripped up on 2 long balls for pass interference, especially the one with Trufant. He had a step on him and could have had a long TD.

    Lets revise that…

One of my favorite Cards players of all time. Larry Centers is #1. He never made any media stinks. Wison and Aeneas Williams is tops of the list. In 21 years, Q is one of the most amzing Cards ever.

And yes, as of right now, he’s a better Cardinal than Fitz. Time will tell on a 26 yr old WR thats one of the best talents in the league. But right now? Q is a better Cardinal, historically.

Q had a great game, props!

I’ve been bagging on him this year. He took the low road again (even though he was quiet) this off season and claimed he had a bad hammy so he didn’t participate much in the off season practices. Admonition: Be careful what you claim, some times it comes around to bite you. He claimed injury in the off season, he’s been in the trainers room most of the 1st half of this season.

Back to the game … It was great to see Q back on the field in good shape. Catching balls, and getting yards after the catch. Just what he is the best at.

We needed it yesterday, and he gave us what we needed.

    Great Job! Congratulations Cardinals!
