Hightower 50-yard run rare
Posted by on November 22, 2009 – 2:35 pmA quick note after the Cards get the first touchdown of the day: The 50-yard run by Tim Hightower (a career-long), which was the highlight of this scoring drive, was the longest run by a Cardinal since Troy Hambrick (remember him?) rumbled 62 yards in Miami on Nov. 7, 2004. That was a road win for the Cards that day, breaking a long winless streak away from home. Maybe Hightower’s run can spark continued success on the road (and it looks like the Cards will be able to run today if they want).
