Rams game is a sellout

Posted by Darren Urban on December 24, 2009 – 2:00 pm

The Cardinals made it through another season with all sellouts. The Cards have sold out Sunday’s game against the Rams, meaning it will not be a blackout on local TV (the season finale against the Packers is going to be a sellout for sure). It is the 41st Cardinals’ game at University of Phoenix Stadium, and the 41st time it has sold out.

There remain scattered seats for the Rams game, if you are still looking for a way in, but officially, it’s a done deal as the Cards play their first game at home since becoming 2009 NFC West champions.

Do they have anything special planned for before the game now that the Cardinals have won the NFC West again?

It’s possible but to be honest I do not know for sure.

Congratulations to the Arizona Cardinal organization.

The Cardinals have worked extremely hard on filling that stadium up each week. Many forget the days of Sun Devil Stadium where the crowds were sparse year in and year out.

It is good to see the Cardinals hard work rewarded.

Merry Christmas to all the Cardinals players, coaches, workers, fans, and of course, writers.

PS: Santa didn’t bring me a red Adrian Wilson jersey 🙁 Oh well, there is always next year.

Congrats to the AZ Cardinals. For the high school player of the week recognition, what endzone will they make the presentation in and when? I heard it is before the game. My nephew jake will be one of the players awarded and i am taking my parents(jake’s grand parents) to the game to see the awards given. Thanks for any info you have. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all. SB

They will start in the south end zone and walk out to various yard lines.

–anytime you win your division that is great, for the cards, back to back is super great, but i hope the players don’t think you can turn the switch off and on whenever they want.they need these two games to play well going into playoffs.last year was great but PLEASE don’t think you can play that way going into this year.remember,if you start out slow, you might not be able to catch up,you see the clock doesn’t care who wins,it just keeps on ticking.–GO CARDS

Well it’s nice to see the card’s make the playoffs again, and see ben graham do so well as I know him personally as well, he was a great player for the geelong cat’s and for him to be part of the card’s success is testiment to his hard work.

    GO CARD’S………………

Will the roof be open today?
Why is this information not posted on the Game Day page?

The roof decision doesn’t have to be made and usually isn’t made until 90 minutes before game time. But, given recent history, I am assuming it will be closed.

The temperature still can be chilly, but the roof is going to be open today. Also, there are shuttle buses from the brown lot.
