Waiting on Williams?

Posted by Darren Urban on April 22, 2010 – 6:41 pm

With the Falcons taking LB Sean Weatherspoon, I am guessing the Cards are hoping nose tackle Dan Williams falls to them. If he does, I think they grab him. If he doesn’t, keep an eye on TCU LB Daryl Washington. I think the Cards think he fits.

I don’t think there is any way they take Jimmy Clausen, if you’re wondering.

Are pick lets take Dan Williams and go for Bruse Cambell in the secound and finish the draft like this!Round 3) Rennie Curran played (WLB) in college, he would play (OLB) for us!
Round 3) Donald Butler played (WLB) in college, he would play (ILB) for us!
    Round 4) Brandon Spikes (ILB)
    Round 6) Dan Lefevour (QB)
    Round 7) Earl Mitchell DT/DE

wow are you kidding me. I read either in your blog or in an article that whiz said if Jimmy was there we were going to take him shows how much we care about winning. dan williams is going to take up half are bench cause he is going to be lazy and never play

That would be the biggest waste of a draft pick ever.

Welcome Dan Williams. Now to shore up ILB in the 2nd round!

Excellent pick. Almost every mock had him going in the top 12 picks. Extraordinarily lucky. Having a dominant line should make life much easier for the linebackers and secondary.

I hope you went to UCLA and are just a SC hater otherwise you really don’t know football.

Dan seems to be a great guy too, no ego from what I have seen on youtube about him.

Campbell Docket Williams and then Porter and our second rd pick last yr who didn’t play Brown on the outside, this could be a phenomenal D front.

    Jamie D-

Taylor Mayes, ah ha ha ha ha ha ha. he’s a bust in the nfl, wasn’t even really that good in college, just made some noise cause of some big hits. He has no ball instincts. had he played on any other team than usc we wouldnt even know who he is…. quit bein so in love with USC!

Tyler Comella, you said that Whiz doesn’t want to win because he didn’t pick Clausen…Obviously you have no idea about football. Dan is going to take up half our bench because he’s lazy??? You gotta be very young and not understand needs. First off out of the past 5 years how many QB’s went in the first round and did something? Look at Matt he still hasn’t done anything. I can name two.. Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco. Clausen is going to be another Ryan Leaf. We need DEFENSE. By the way WHIZ is a winner and there is no question about that. I think you need football for dummies.

That was terrific value at #26. We get a dominating NT at 26.
