Kolb, Whiz speak on passing of Andy Reid’s son

Afte the tragic death of Eagles coach Andy Reid’s son, former Eagles and Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb and Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt each expressed their feelings:

Kolb: “Anyone that’s been around Andy for any amount of time knows how important family is and how much his kids mean to him. This is devastating news. My heart goes out to Andy and Tammy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of them right now.”

Whisenhunt: “All of us in the NFL community send out deepest sympathy and condolences to Andy and Tammy. We share their grief and are ready to support them in any way possible during what is obviously an incredibly difficult time for them and their family.

UPDATE: Former Eagles linebacker and current Card Stewart Bradley also tweeted a statement: “My prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Andy Reid and his family.”

    Truly heartbreaking news. Just goes to show people that everyone in the NFL are just as human and vulnerable as the rest of us. My heart goes out to the family.

    My prayers are with Andy Reid and his family. My family has gone though the same situation. It is so hard to love your child as they are going through such a self destructive course. It is so hard to understand why so many people judge you and them. Andy and Tammy you have been a great sourc3 of inspiration to our family. God bless
