No shock: Dockett, Heap, Hyphen out for Dolphins

Posted by Darren Urban on September 30, 2012 – 11:34 am

The doubtful players all are sitting today for the Cardinals, which includes defensive lineman Darnell Dockett (hamstring). It also includes running back LaRod Stephens-Howling (hip), tight end Todd Heap (knee) and tight end Jim Dray (knee).

That mean safety Adrian Wilson is playing, as is fullback Anthony Sherman — although new signee Reagan Maui’a is active as well as a reserve because Dray is out.

Quarterback John Skelton (ankle) also is still out. Ryan Lindley remains Kevin Kolb’s backup.

Guard Senio Kelemete and wide receiver LaRon Byrd are the Cards’ only “healthy” scratches. Reggie Bush is playing for the Dolphins.

Bummer. I was hoping that LaRon Byrd was going to be able to play today. Perhaps another time then.

All week I have been saying you have to find Wake and help out the tackles…I guess R. Grimm doesn’t read the blog….I don’t blame the players for this but the coaching staff…

It looks like we are just a bunch of “Pretenders,” opposed to “Contenders” getting beat by a bunch of “Hard Knockers” 10 – 0 who just happen to have a rookie QB and rookie Head Coach. In Whiz YOU Trust! He44 hath Fury the Hard Knocks, Cuckoo, Cuckoo, Cuckoo for your Fantasy Puffs. K. Kolb just threw an interception. I don’t understand why Johnny S. couldn’t have dressed??? How often do we leave only 2 available QB’s on the sidelines??? Don’t we have 4 available TE’s??? Wow, just Wow!!

I know some will see this as jumping off the band wagon……….but teams I root for I’d like to at least be IN the game, esp against an opponent like the dolphins. I mean geez, guys, what the heck? You’re letting a rookie beat the snot out of you. Lets get it done in the 2nd half

We’ve shut down Tom Brady and Michael Vick in consecutive games…and now we’re being torn up by Ryan Tannerhill??? My, the NFL is truly a strange place…

Ugly win, but it still counts.
OL and DB took astep backwards, refs called the game more closely and running game still non-existent.

What was up with the cut-up pants?
Isn’t that against the NFL jersey cops?

Darren- On the late interception in the end zone, it looked like Fitz was shoved out of bounds by the defender who intercepted the ball. I was wondering why the penalty wasn’t called. It looked like the ref’s shorted the Cards on a few penalties and a fumnle recovery oin the firdt half.

Are the players like Dockett, LSH and Heap going to be able to play against the Rams on Thurs???

    RE: Fitz shove

Fitz himself said after the game it was legal. Legal to do after the QB has left the pocket.

How long would you predict it will take for them to come back in. Watching the D, I feel we need Darnell Dockett back. We didn’t get enough pressure on their O without the Hulk.

Wow u people talking down on or team have some faith.
Even if we lost u shouldnt talk down on the cards. Anyone of u watch any of the mai games? There a pretty good team, just havnt been able to win much.

Look at the cards last year 1-6 but finished strong. We underestamated them even me, but we still won. Next time if your a cards fan dont talk down on them, could you do better?

Funny how the comments go from negative to positive as you read on. We are 4-0 guys. This is the NFL. You don’t get 21 hits on the QB and win 27-6 every week. You must be able to win the close ones. That is what makes a team a good team. We find a way to win. We will continue to get better as the season goes. Our running game will get better. Have faith, we will make the playoffs this season.

Looks like me pep talk above at half got them on track for the 2nd half………..ha ha. I might as well get some heart pills. These games of their’s are killing me. Hey it wasnt’ pretty and some things really they should have done better, thus some of the negative talk, but hats off to them in the 2nd half. Even without some of their starters, they did the job. Great win. Good luck on THUR
