The best uniform? You can pick the Cards
Posted by on July 3, 2013 – 8:15 amWith a few weeks left before players come back, now is as good a time as any for NFL.com to run a poll about the best uniforms both all-time and today. Click here to see the four brackets, broken into conferences and then a section for a team’s current outfit and the team’s all-time best. For the Cardinals, they are the “14th seed” in the current NFC, ranking only above the Rams and Falcons. But in the NFC’s all-time bracket, the Cardinals’ uniform from the 1973-81 era is listed as the No. 2 seed in the entire conference, behind only the 1960-63 Philadelphia Eagles. Voting is simple: Just click in the box next to your choice. No submit button needed, your vote is automatically cast as soon as your checkmark turns green.
The Cards, battling the No. 3 Giants in the current unis and the No. 15 2012 alternate jersey Panthers in the all-time unis, trail both a little right now (vote totals can be seen by clicking on a matchup.) We’ll see if they can come back.

IMO the Cards 73-81 uni is the best ever,so similar to what we wore in the Super Bowl. On the other hand the all red uni is probably the worst ever

The team should have added a red stripe (not the beer lol) to the top of their helmets when they updated the jerseys. They should still consider it…

I love the 73-81 Uniforms. And I like our current uni’s. but if I had to choose between the two, I would go with the 73-81 uni’s. Would love to see a black helmet with the black uni’s. That would be sweet.

I’d love to re-design their uniforms. I have at least four ideas and each are very distinctive without being off-the-wall weird.

The red is nice! I wish we had a gold/yellow one though, a home alternate with the black one which is the best. I also do wish we had a black or red or both color helmet too.

Throwback has better colors. Simple. Too much black makes us look like other teams. A bit more gold on the home unis for the sun of Arizona would be good.
