Fitzgerald is questionable for Lions

Bruce Arians said wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will be questionable for Sunday’s game with his hamstring issue. The injury happened Wednesday, when Arians said Fitzgerald “tweaked” the hamstring in practice. This was not a holdover from St. Louis. Arians did say he thought Fitzgerald was doing well today, albeit limited again. My guess is this will go all the way up until game time to see if Fitzgerald will be ready. Sorry, Fitz fantasy owners. I figure Fitz will do everything in his power to play, although you want to be smart — you’d rather miss one game than have it turn into 50-percent Fitz for four weeks.

Tight end Rob Housler (ankle) is out for the game. Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (biceps) is also questionable.

Overall, though, Arians said he was pleased with a week of practice coming off of a hard loss in St. Louis.

“Today was almost too competitive,” Arians said. “(But) I’d rather say ‘Whoa’ than ‘Sic ’em’ like I have before. Today was almost, ‘Whoa, slow down a little bit.’ “

I have a quetion for you; is there any way you could possibly tell me how many times a receiver that Peterson was guiding got thrown to in this past game? And how many were completed?

I’m not sure. I’d have to research and I don’t have that time right now.

Anyone who has had even a mild Hamstring pull knows the dilemma. It seems to &%$#&#* hurt 24/7, and it can keep you up at night affecting you stamina even more. Trainers know all the preventive measures, but for a performance athlete, it sometimes happens… Here’s a piece of trivia for you:: Carson Palmer and Fitz have nearly the same exact 40 time. But Palmer has less exposure to this sort of injury because he will not need to explode “upward” like Fitz does. Remember? He’s the jump-ball guy…put it up and he will get it or prevent a pick…. I wish him well… Come back when you are well Fitz….

Washington suspended for 4 games…Cooper out for the season…now Fitz questionable with a hamstring issue…anything else???? Geez, that already covers our best defensive player, our best offensive player ( by FAR ), and our first round pick. What next? The keys to UOP are lost and we have to play the rest of the games on the road???

Gonna have our hands full this week. The Rams filled our hands pretty good and they have nothing that compares with a Reggie Bush or a Calvin Johnson. They got some firepower on D, too. They’re certainly a team the Cardinals CAN beat, especially playing at home. But they could just as easily lose by double digits. Hard to have a handle on most teams at this point. But with Fitz clearly limited OR out altogether at any point during this game and I can’t the see the Cardinals keeping pace.

like I said we will finish on the bottom in our division until we find a good G.M. and a coach who knows football.

If there is anywhere you can point me to research it myself I would appreciate it. I want to research IF the attempts TOWARDS P2 have decreased or increased over his career. I know that answer should be clear cut, I would just like a #, so if there is anywhere you can point me to find these stats I would appreciate it sir!

    Thank you.

All serious athletes get hamstring pulls including gymnasts, cheerleaders and triathletes, basketballl players, etc.; it goes with the territory. Being the elite athlete Fitz is, I’m sure he’s had his share during his career and well before, so I’m not sure why this is such a big deal. Yes, they hurt, they can disrupt sleep but a professional athlete deals with such as part of their life’s chosen path; Fitz is in extraordinary shape and trains year around so, I find all this rather suspect, especially when he says he is fine. Roddy White has missed practice this week, listed as participating in limited practice but is expected to play on Sunday and Fitz is every bit as much an elite player as White. A lot of people lay out their hard earned money to treat their kids to seeing Fitz play in the home opener and I can’t imagine him letting the fans down; kinda like buying tickets to a rock concert and then having the headliner not show–disappointing and bad for business! A lot of fans who continue to support the Cards year after year, win or lose, do so because of their affection for the players otherwise we would have quit years ago! While it’s always great to have a win, watching our players is the real thrill.

like they will fill in for fitz, keim and BA are doing fine-go away.

even though larry stays in great shape, that’s still a lot of wear over the years, maybe lighten his load a little this game and decoy him some and use peterson some.

    RE: Darren doing your research

He doesn’t have time to do the research, and certainly not the time to hold your hand while you do the research. Check out fantasy football sites you geek.
