Bethel active against Colts

Posted by Darren Urban on November 24, 2013 – 12:31 pm

Special-teams ace Justin Bethel is active for today’s game against the Colts, a big deal after the Cards struggled on special teams following Bethel’s concussion in Jacksonville. The inactive list is actually the exact same seven guys as the last two games:

– WR Brittan Golden (hamstring)

– QB Ryan Lindley

– RB Ryan Williams

– LB Dontay Moch

–G Earl Watford

– TE Kory Sperry

– DE Ronald Talley

I wish I were Ryan Williams. I could collect a paycheck and not have to work ever. Great win by the Cards, but with the RBs we have, I just don’t understand why we keep him.

A great victory. Best game of the year. Carson Palmer, Michael Floyd, and the rest of the offense keep it going like the defense has been doing all year. Crushing the Colts is big really big and I tell you what the Rams scare me more than the Eagles and especially if they flex the game to Sunday night instead of 1 PM EST which is what the NFL should do it they had any sense. 40 points wow and the 3 games before that we scored 27 points in all three games and the 3 games before that we scored 22 in two of them and 20 in the other. So here is my prediction. If our team is awake and the weather is not awful we will score 40 on the Eagles. Okay before you fans think I have been hitting the kool-aid too hard celebrating the Colts win look at the Eagles stats and games this year. Their defense is not great especially at sacking the QB or stuffing the run. Our biggest weaknesses relate to our OL so this is a great match up for our offense. Philly’s strength is their offense and I think they will score some on us, but our defense will make plays. Carson Palmer is playing well and I think based upon his past he will keep the hot hand going until he gets hit really hard a few times against a good sack team like the Rams or Seahawks. Eagles will be rested with the week off, but I think we stay on our roll with five in a row. Time to go crazy Cardinal Fans and enjoy Thanksgiving and the game this Sunday.
