Mathieu series “Tenacious” debuts

Today is the first episode of an occasional web series called “Tenacious,” which will follow the rehab of defensive back Tyrann Mathieu as he comes back from a torn ACL and LCL. The initial installment is called “Scar Tissue.”

“They had to go in there and pretty much fix the entire outside of my left knee along with the ACL,” Mathieu said. “I was asleep the whole time, but when I woke up, it was extremely painful.”

Wow. Just wow. What a tough injury.

If he can come back from this and be as effective as he was before, my hats off to him. He will have my respect and admiration.

The one thing he does have going for him is his youth. And hopefully he’s one of those people that don’t develop too much scar tissue and heals quickly.

    I’m pulling for you TM32!

Tyrann will come back with a BANG. I have no doubt in my mind that he will make a full recovery and come back just as strong if not better. This time he has off is a REAL test of character on his part to see what hes learned on the field but more importantly off the field. I have struggled through many of the situation he is facing now off the field and from what I have seen and heard from and about him not only will he be able to stay clean but i think this time off will remind him of not being able to have his true love(football) and will serve as a fire under his @$* and it will push him to expand his game even more even tho that’s a very difficult task because hes already so great. Honey Badger will be a successful CARD for A LONG TIME !!
