Smokey Brown active, Floyd is not

Posted by Darren Urban on November 22, 2015 – 4:59 pm

It turns out that no, wide receiver Michael Floyd (hamstring) cannot play tonight. He is inactive. But yes, John “Smokey” Brown is active with his sore hamstring. So the Cardinals have one of their two gimpy wide receivers. Health plays a big part in this week’s inactives — rookie nose tackle Xavier Williams is playing this week. Right guard Jonathan Cooper (knee), who was doubtful, is not. In Cooper’s place, Ted Larsen will start.

The full inactive list:

— QB Matt Barkley

— WR Michael Floyd (hamstring)

— CB Robert Nelson Jr.

— LB Shaq Riddick

— G Jonathan Cooper (knee)

— T D.J. Humphries

— DT Cory Redding (ankle)

For the Bengals, their best cornerback, Pacman Jones, is inactive with a foot injury.

    Half-time. What I see so far….

Again, turnovers. This is becoming an every game thing. Maybe they’re gonna have to lose one to get the point. And the Bengals look like they are up to it right now.

What the hell did Palmer see on the 2nd INT???? Both of his INT’s were bad throws. As was the throw to Nelson on the last drive before half-time. Nelson had THREE Bengals on him. WHY THE F ARE YOU THROWING TO HIM ON THAT PLAY??? Doesn’t someone else have to be more open than a guy with THREE defenders on him??? The Bengals didn’t have 20 guys on the field on that play, did they?? Palmer has not been sharp.

We’re not getting to Dalton and we’re not stopping the run. We don’t look sharp on defense, either.

The penalty on 3rd and 19…..REALLY?? Way to GIVE them a first down and leave your defense on the field. That led to a 14-7 lead.

We get the ball back with a minute left before the half and all three TO’s left. And it takes us a mere 13 seconds to go 3 and out. Nice. Geez, could we at least take more time off the damn clock if we’re gonna go 3 and out?

    Gio Bernard is a problem.

Wake the hell up, fellas. This ain’t the Cleveland Browns.

I am seeing something else – PP is putting a blanket over Green! He has done a great job on him. Don’t let up, Patrick.

4th quarter…28-21…..but as beat up as the Bengals are on defense right now, we CANNOT let them back in this. Can’t believe we just had to punt….dammit!

OMG, it’s never easy, is it? Palmer was so clutch on that last drive, as was Fitz. But we’re used to that! Thank you, Cat Man, for putting it through at the buzzer. That penalty was HUGE. But I think Catanzaro was gonna do it, regardless.

Good night, Cardinals fans! Sleep well and wake up happy! Gonna be a good day tomorrow!
